Saturday, May 4, 2019
9am-5pm
Historic Downtown Apex

https://apexpeakfest.com/

Salem Street in historic downtown Apex will come alive during PeakFest! For more than thirty years, PeakFest has brought families together for a day of fun, food and fellowship. The event, which is referred to as an arts and crafts festival, has deep roots within the Apex community.  What started as a small community day in a school parking lot has grown into an event that draws hundreds of vendors and over 22,000 people to the streets of downtown Apex.  Every year, the Apex Festival Commission plans a bigger and more exciting day.

PeakFest is the largest public event in Apex and, it is about more than fun.  Live music all day, artist of every kind (jewelry, pottery, watercolor and acrylic), entertainment for the kids, food that you would find at the fair, and so much more!

New show! Durham Centerfest in September

Hi, everyone- I just got invited to The 44th Annual Durham CenterFest Arts Festival in September!
Dates: Saturday and Sunday, September 15th and 16th, 2018
Times: Saturday 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, Sunday 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
Location: Downtown Durham, Triangle Area, North Carolina
CenterFest Website: www.centerfest.durhamarts.org

Since 1974, the Durham Arts Council has brought the Durham community together with CenterFest. As Durham’s signature arts festival, CenterFest showcases juried visual artists from near and far, and fills multiple stages with music, dance, and more from local performers. Serious art shoppers will be dazzled by world-class ceramics, paintings, jewelry, fiber art, woodwork, and everything in between – much of it from Durham and Triangle-based creators. Singers, dance troupes, choirs, bands, jugglers, magicians, and performers of every stripe will provide continuous entertainment throughout the weekend. Kids will have a blast at the Creative Kids Zone, food vendors will keep guests fueled for fun, and Durham’s inspiring nonprofit and government services sector will be on hand connecting with the community they serve. It all takes place in the heart of Durham’s historic downtown, a hub of local businesses and foodie culture that elevates the visitor experience!

It looks like it’ll be a lot of fun. I hope to see you there.

Hope to see you there

Also, don’t forget to visit the Art Shop on 3900 W Market St Ste A over the next month to see a fabulous collection of pastels from artists across NC. We were lucky to have Liz Haywood-Sullivan jury the show. You should see her work- it’s amazing!
